This was totally worth all my time. Superb overall. The mouth motions matched perfectly. The camera angels was awesome, and it had some awesome parodys.
The main character was really "alive", and so was the admin friend he met. It was like they were real persons. However their charisma died later in the movie, about the part, where they get seperate for the first time. |

The war of the worlds film that got a sequel was not the big Tom Cruise one, but a rubbishy one that never should have been. Furthermore, the War of the Servers is not based on any film, but on Jeff Wayne's excellent musical version. A War of the Servers sequel would be a BAD move, although a feature length machinima along the same principles, but based on a separate seminal work, would be excellent. |

I have to say, that was absolute genius. Being a huge fan of Jeff Wayne's WOTW I really appreciated a lot of the references and lines. The direction was fantastic, the faceposing was precise and the overall drama and, on occasion, comedy of the piece was not lost on me, I am always a fan of parody.

I loved it, all of it. Overall it was superb, the only thing I did not like was the pilots voices, they did not seem right.
One scene especially liked was the battle between the admins and the mafia. It was very well done, and I wonder if there will be more films with such action being featured more. |

there is a war of the worlds 2 out now, it has not been shown in the cinima ( to my knowledge ) but anyway the header says "this time, we fight back" and they poisoned the blood suply for the aliens. BUT anyway you guys could make a remake of this.. but instead of screwed up diseased blood it could be contraptions. and so, the community of gmod could fight the minges by creating contraptions ( basicly fight fire with fire )

I know Litfuse films from watching Ignus Solus, every TF2 fan should know this video. Then i thought i watch War of the Servers and i must say, outstanding work here. This movie blew me away, i definitly need to watch it a 2nd time.
This is one of the greatest game movies i've ever seen, besides Tales of the Past 3 from the WoW Universe. Alone the amound of actors and the whole effort you put into this, simply amazing!

The song played at the destruction of the RAN (royal admin navy?) Thunder Child was taken from the 1995 two CD set of the War of the Worlds. Its worth a listen, especially after watching this. That is if you wanted to listen to this movie with a 19th century twist.
I don't want to say blatant rip-off, but the similarity between the CDs and this movie is hard to ignore. Fortunately, this movie is much, much better. I'll assume that this was intended to enhance the experience for the acutely nerdy. Or more optimistically, the acutely observant.

great movie im a real gmod fan i herd of it in its 10th version but i cant play the new beta v10 worked fine and when i try2 play beta....my hole comp crashes otherwise id always play gmod and ive tried the simple movie of shooting a cannon at some homemade mingebag models and screwed it bigtime this is a pro piece a work! |

that was amazing i have so many things to say but i dont think i fit them all in. basically that was the most well made piece of machinima ive ever seen. it was so proffesional and obviously took a long time. i love the way you used the original soundtrack for war of the worlds. ive had that cd for years now and the film itself did remind me ogf the real story.

Well made, it even tugged at my emotions here and there, which was odd.
A nice blending of a good story re-imagined in a favorite mod, with perfect seasoning of light humour.

Ok people this will make things alot easier for you. You are having trouble getting War of the Servers onto you ipod. There is a simple step to this. Download part one and part 2, not onto your ipod but onto your computer. Then put them in a folder that you will remember. Then go onto windows movie maker and take both parts and put them on windows movie maker. Then get a free ipod converter off of google, doesn't really matter, and run the Full War of the Servers movie that you made from Windows movie maker. Then go to itunes, go to movies, and say upload file. Then go to were you put your full movie that was put through the free ipod converter and sync your ipod. After that enjoy one of the best movies, War of the Servers.

Technically it's very impressive but it's waaaay too long. There are a lot of self-indulgent scenes that should have been cut, and could have been without disrupting the story.
