Brandon, just because the Pyro is voiced by a man doesn't necessarily mean the character is one too, there are numerous characters that are voiced by actors of the opposite sex (i.e Dexter from Dexter's Lab, Tommy Pickles from the Rugrats, Debbie from the Life and Times of Tim, ect). |

I must say, I have never been more impressed in anyone's Machinima Films then yours. Your stories are simply amazing, and I have noticed that many contain the same sort of element of longing and dreaming with each character. Even with your shortest films, you are able to make the viewer connect to the characters, and feel for them. And that is truely impressive.
Also, I've noticed that many of your films have characters in situations where they are alone, and it seems to be that all they want is a friend. I can't help but find that, along with the rest of your movies, very emotional and sad in a unique way.

Very, very good! The hole aspect of the only one on a map with the random player coming on really portrays the lonely gamer delima. The first time I watched this, I loved it and now I find myself unable to pry myself away from it.
In my honest opinion this is the best damn sound design ever. While this film is still enjoyable if muted, the sound effects and music make this a powerful example of why filmmakers should put as much effort into the audio as they do in the visuals.

Awesome movie guys. Music is brilliant - no match. Love that you have kept the same "style" of music as the original song of TF2.
A bit of critic tho - i got mixed messages. Is the pyro lonely? Why fight the only guy that comes in? In the end he ends up lonely, and he knows it's his own fault - why does he sound mad over the speakers, as he is calling out for him: MMMM!

Never really got into Machinina, until now. Most machinima "in the wild" has been pretty low grade. Trouble is, this one's awesome, and raises the bar even for everyone else (I guess raising the bar's not entirely a bad thing).
Wonderful direction/setup, and the music fits perfectly. Great choice on Pyro too. For some reason, I don't see The Heavy pulling it off...

excellent bit of work, it really gets to me since i remember how it was trying to host an online game of Halo 1 for PC. And i tell you what, that kind of loneliness can make you feel absolutely terrible. But the best part had to be the music, kudos to Lars for that. |

Wow. I got linked to this, and it's just--wow. Excellently directed and performed, wonderfully funny, yet at the same time you can just feel the loneliness dripping off. Lord knows it captures the kind of thing players do when they enter a server and they're all alone.
The music really helped to drive that point home.
I agree with the guy who said this worked best with the Pyro class; the film lends itself well to the muffled personality of a Pyro. In all, you guys really know what you're doing. I've been telling everyone I know about your work! |

That was awesome! I love the game and the Pyro is one of my favorite characters. A must on any team. His Secondary weapon Taunt, the fireball, is the best. The camera work was beautiful and you would never except to get that kind of quality in a machinima camera wise. It was all incredible, sad, moving and funny! Great Work Guys!! |

Brilliant job on that film :D I like a lot of the others can't wait for the music to be available on iTunes. The cow fart made me laugh. I'm not quite sure how you managed to get out to that bit though. Usually if it's an out of bounds area, attempting a noclip made you fall through the floor or just get stuck there. |

great work. Camera work was very professional, i forgot i wasnt watchin a comercial CGI movie for most of it.
Felt sad for the poor little pyro.. so lonely.. but also very amusing.
