Rusty Whispers Dennis is officially the first video to win an award for Lit Fuse and we were so happy to have won it. He announced the winner of the Machinima category and we both went up on stage to accept, in a room full of people in the planeterium, which you’ll see in the video we’ll release. After wards all the winners had their photo taken and had a few drinks too.
I gotta say, because BitFilm shows different things like computer animation etc, we got to see some really amazing stuff such as the Heavenly Sword flash video and A Wonderful Nature. The other contender in the Machinima contest was there also from Finland. He’s a cool person and his WoW music video was really well edited and must’ve taken a long time, so shout out to Baron or Olly what we like to call him.. some how.
Today we had two breakfasts and we were taken on a lil boat trip down the river which was nice. Rob looked like a pirate, you’ll see on the vid. Now we’re spending 30mins writing this blog and checking the nets then we’re off in the limo service to the hotel to chill and ready ourselves to be back at the Planeterium for the Machinima and 3d Space event. Tomorrow we’ll be leaving the hotel around 10:30 so you’ll probably be getting the ending BitFilm journey blogs when I get home. See you guys soon xxx.

We woke up early as we said on the previous blog, the tiredness hasn’t hit me yet but I’m sure when it does, it’ll hit hard. We got to Heathrow alright and we munched on a brilliant full english breakfast (check the pics below) and relaxed for an hour or so. The signing in process was seamless, we got in past security far before what we expected as for Rob’s camera, but they never mentioned it once.
Day 1 in Hamburg, we got in around 10:30 which was just as stated and our lovely lifeless limo driver was awaiting for us to show our faces. He had a little piece of paper with our names etc, which was cool, never had that before.
We had some dinner and then we got a lift by our good Bitfilm friend Moritz to the Planeterium for an interview with a German TV channel, which I recorded with Rob’s camera so you’ll be able to see that when we release the video, hopefully the sound will be alright as it got a little windy. Rob was interviewed about Rusty Whispers Dennis and what it was all about, which is kind of hard cause no one knows what it was all about. There was also a shout out to Garry’s Mod too as we like Garry :).
After that we took a little walk back to the hotel and put our stuff in the hotel room, got out for some food, taxi’d to some place with McDonalds and found this lovely Net Cafe in which I’m writing this now. As for tonight, the main event is at 7PM where the announcements will be made and hopefully we’ll bring home the gold. Talk to you soon, lots of love, Michael and Rob, xxx.

I’m at Robs now and we’re having a right good time watching shitty zombie movies (Diary of the Dead to be precise), which was shit.
There was a nice woman on the train on the way down here, she had an awesome smile that reminded me of Alison Hannigan’s and it made me feel nice deep down inside :). Luckily I had free wifi on the train so I was able to jump on the internet and msn using my iPod and talk to some friends on my journey.
Tomorrow is the big day, where we awake at around 3am (WHAT?!) and leave the house at 04:15am (WHAAAT?!) and eventually leave Heathrow and arrive in Germany at 10:30 where a limousine will be waiting for us with a guy holding a sign with our names on it, yay.
We’ll probably make another post tomorrow if we get a chance to be at a PC and let you guys know what’s happening. Check back laters. Oh and if you don’t know who we are, Rob on the left, Michael on the right.
July and Aug are going to be VERY busy for me! first I’ve moved back into my parents MASSIVE house because as most of you I’m sure have heard 10 million times, I’m moving to Canada for a new job with Bioware, and theres really no point in paying for another months rent, plus I’ve got time to sort out what I’m taking and what I’m leaving. Living back with the parents isn’t bad for me… my Dad is like my best mate so it’s all good! had a round of golf last night. I won.
My girlfriend is at university at the moment, so she can’t come over and live in Canada with me till she finishes her course, but she be over Christmas! so that’s awesome!
But yes! so July my self and Michael are going to Germany for the Bit Film awards, we paid for the hotels and flights together as it’s cheaper if you do, so BitFilm emailed us to say they could of sorted our hotels out! but they said they’re going to contribute €200 to cover our travel expense, so that’s nice. before all this and before I went to Canada my passport got washed… So I’ve had to spend another £92.00 to get another! MONIES!
Then after Germany I’m off to Ireland for filming things then France for a bit.. then in August I’m going to Canada! EA have been very good asking me loads of questions about where i wanna live, what I’m into ect. So that’s all going well! Oh and last weekend I was filming a music video for ‘The Brays’ - http://www.the-brays.co.uk/ spending pretty much the whole weekend at a pole dancing bar. The crew stayed in this hotel called “The Metro Inn” it’s like something from Tron. The room is really really small with like a bed and a TV and if you need the loo or a shower you walk down the hall to a space ship style room. i guess that’s why it costs £24.50 a night!! can’t really moan… i was very sleepy anyway. The song was called ‘Sin - The Brays’ Watch out for it on MTV :). I’m going to see my girl. Take care! Rob.
