Although there is nothing in any shape or form wrong with Mass Effect 2 (I’ve already pre-ordered my copy,) I am still most dissapointed that this is the final creation of the Lit Fuse Films team, or, that’s what I am atleast gleening from the front page news post. Is this really the end of Lit Fuse? Will we see any more machinima from you? (By that I mean on this site as independant creations.) If it is as I expect, thankyou for providing me with years of the highest quality machinima, and I will look out for your names in other productions. You will be seriously missed. :’(
I am very happy for you, as I will be playing Mass Effect 2 multiple times over, but I am also very sad that this is the end of lit fuse films. I was one of the first to post on your blogs when this site first came up, and this will be my last… good luck, I look forward to seeing your names in future Bioware developments.
Rob did have submerged and that blue/pink film in the works but I doubt we’ll see the light of those. He did mention he had help with the voices from the sound guy at BioWare but samples never surfaced (I was oh so curious). Rob’s just a busy guy I suppose! Maybe he’ll put up short wip clips of them on the blog, at least then it wouldn’t feel like the work was done for nothing (other than practice/fun). I doubt it though, submerged was delayed due to lack of voice actors, I don’t think he ever got the clips he needed, so if he did post a wip it would be of shots with little to no voices lol. No idea what the latest stages of blue/pink were, last I heard was him getting help with the effects of the vending machine voices.
Little plug here, to those who knew of PHW, it’s being relaunched and hopefully revived to its once busy potential ( http://phwonline.net ) - though it won’t be ran by our beloved Michael (unless he wants to get more involved, but I think that ship has sailed for him). So if you do want to get involved with a creative community, the ‘new’ PHW should be up fairly soon! Myself, Filipe, and Slick (Slique) will be hanging around there quite a bit once it’s up and running :)
And man, our site/blog is soo outdated.. we don’t have a vent or a tf2 yet that info is still on the sidebar.. ah.. which kind of makes me wonder what will happen to the site… perhaps we could archive everything on other sites that are appropriate so Michael doesn’t have to pay for the hosting anymore, once the domain expires is when Lit Fuse truly is dead, in a productive sense of the word.
I must say it has been a privilege to watch you films for the pas years. I check this site every week in hopes to see just one last thing even if it be just a 5 second clip. I guess It has finally come in the form of Mass Effect 2. I salute you for changing the way everybody does machinima. Thank you, and good night.

Do you want, guys, maybe to release all your titles on a DVD? Some kind of “commemorative edition”?
I could help with authoring…
