Michael - Ready to go

Dunno about the rest of the world but I think for British people, going to New York is a pretty big deal. Maybe it’s all the movies with it in. So my dad and I are pretty excited to go and I got my monies changed to American dollars, which by the way are the most dull notes I’ve ever seen, sorry but they’re nothing compared to the Euro’s funky notes.

I leave here at 6:30 to go to the airport and fly to Heathrow around about 9:30, where we’ll transit over to JFK. Zach, Rob and Brian arrive a few hours after us, so we’ll go to our shoddy hotel, drop our stuff off and meet up with some machinima peeps afterwards (I think, or we’ll just hang at a pizza restaurant till the others arrive).

we’ll be in NYC soon

so look for this face

forget these faces though

Picking up the slackers.

It’s been too long. I’d like to thank Mike for picking up slack and actually producing something while me and rob have been so preoccupied lately. It’s good for everyone out there to know that we’re not dead, we’re just working really REALLY hard.  I’ve got a film under way, that’s Just recently passed the halfway mark in terms of completion, I’m not going to talk about it much or at all before I release it. I’ll just say that it’s a monster in terms of complexity of motion. Life in general has been pretty swank up here in Canada. What they lack in freedom, they certainly make up for in terms of Cold and gravy, so it’s kind of an equal trade off. Work is great as well, definately an awesome experience, but it does tend to eat up a bit of time and drive, so I hope you’ll all forgive the slowdown coming from me and Rob. We should have at least two things out by the end of the year (which is suprisingly close). As Mike’s pointed out, we’ll be out at the Machinima Festival in New York on the 31st-1st. If there’s any new york local machinima fans out there, you come out to find us. I guarantee that every person who can quote a litfuse movie to us, will recieve a hug.  I can’t think of a whole lot else to say really. Things are good, and the films that you’re not hearing about are quite badass. I’m sorry they’re taking so long, but the amount of polish going into alot of this work is just so far above what’s been done [by us] in the past.

So yeah, Check us out at the new york festival. We’ll be easy to spot. Mike and Rob will be the ones walking around with the poofy accents and I’ll be the guy carrying the largest hangover! It’ll be great! -Zachariah

Flying Fenix is out!
