My 40 Incher

It came today at 10AM, now I have the ENTIRE day to be blinded by it’s awesome brightness.. my room has never been brighter.

I’ve managed to get the 360 working through it, easy as pie with 2 cables (power and hdmi, don’t have an ethernet for it yet), and I’ve got my DVI-D to HDMI for my PC working too as you can see in some of the pictures. I plan to test the PC a bit first because it’s a DVI to HDMI cable and I want to see if it’s a bit shit, so far the colours are a bit bright but that might be the contrast ratio messing with my retina. I’ll try some 1920×1080 Team Fortress 2 soon after this blog post, then I’ll go about doing whatever else after, I want to see Mass Effect and Assassin’s in HD so they’ll be on the cards for today.

Overall, going from a normal standard TV to HD, when you have a good HD source i.e PC’s or consoles or sky HD or whatever, then I’d say you’d notice the difference by far. The text on the 360 games… I can actually read it now. Anyway enjoy the pics.

Samsung are one of the best video quality TVs out there.

The site I bought mine from was from - http://www.1staudiovisual.co.uk/catalog/samsung-le40m87bd-inch-p-1985.html

They are very good, they email you and post updates on your order process and reply to you within hours.
